As we step into 2026, I find myself reflecting on the path we traveled through 2025 — a year that held its challenges, its surprises, and its quiet reminders of how resilient and resourceful we truly are. Even when life felt uncertain or stretched thin, we discovered new ways to adapt, adjust, and keep moving forward.
Many of us learned how to stretch our money a little further as things became more expensive, and in that shift, we were reminded that some of life’s greatest joys don’t come with a price tag. A walk in nature, a warm cup of coffee shared with someone we care about, or a simple afternoon spent talking and laughing with a friend can bring a kind of comfort that no store can sell. I’m reminded of times when a friend and I would each cook or bake something, come together, share a meal, and end up with a memory far richer than anything that could have been bought.
