Need a Change? Try Adding Color

Sometimes even simple drawing can start to feel repetitive.

On those days, I like to change one small thing — adding color.

In this video, I’m using watercolor markers, but you can use anything you have nearby — colored pencils, crayons, or pens. It’s not about the tools or making something perfect. It’s about giving your mind something different to focus on.

I’ve noticed that color can shift how I feel, especially after a long or stressful day. Even a small amount can bring a sense of lightness and help me reconnect with the moment.

You don’t have to plan anything. Just start, choose a color, and see where it takes you.

Reflection:
What color are you drawn to today, and what might it bring into your moment?

You’re always welcome to book a guided creative practice with me if you’d like support with this.
