Have you ever had trouble deciding where something should go when you’re drawing?
This simple tulip drawing is a way to begin, adjust, and keep going without needing it to be perfect.
Today’s drawing focuses on simple tulip shapes using basic lines and forms. At first, I wasn’t sure where I wanted to place each flower. I tried a few ideas, adjusted them, and continued from there. That’s part of the process.
Tulips are a great way to practice simple shapes. They don’t have to be exact—just enough to suggest the form and allow you to build from it. This kind of drawing is less about getting it right and more about letting yourself move forward, even when things aren’t fully clear.
In just a few minutes, you have something complete—and a moment to step away from your day.
